CV Dance Concert Auditions will be Monday, March 27, from 3-5 pm (come early), in the Dance Lab.  Be sure to sign up before you audition. The signup list is outside the dance lab door. Come prepared with 1 minute of choreography.

All juniors interested in running for a Student Body Officer position for the 2017-2018 school year, there will be a meeting in Coach Rob Potter's room 117 on Monday, March 27, during lunch. Lunch will be provided.

CV's GOT TALENT is coming up on April 12! Auditions will be April 3-7. See Mr. Jordan in room 122 to sign up.

Attention Junior Boys, applications for Boys State are in the counseling office and interviews will be March 21. Boys State is a program that teaches young men how local and state governments work. The boys learn how to participate in the functioning of their state’s government in preparation for their future roles as responsible adult citizens.  See Mrs. Beatty in the counseling office for more information.

Do you have shoes you could donate to help Miss Beaver and Miss Iron County with their Africa project?  Bring them to the front office and drop them in the box provided.  They will take any type and any style of wearable shoes.

SUU is offering a COMMUNICATION M E D I A  B O O T - C A M P.  The curriculum consists of hands-on classes that infuse the ideas of corporate and public relations communication. Areas of study include ideas in advertisement, social media, brand strategies and more. Students can attend this multi-day event for only $100 per student. Seniors, come into the counseling office and start checking scholarship application deadlines. Many are due this month and next month. There are some great opportunities for you to take advantage of.

Seniors are you on track for graduation....have a GPA of 3.0 or better.....Satisfactory citizenship.... have 40 service hours...been involved in at least one extra-curricular activity per year...  If you can fulfill each of these requirements YOU are eligible to apply for a Merit Diploma!! Our math department is sponsoring a tutor lab after school from 3-4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. An additional session will be held on Mondays from 5-6 pm. The teachers will be rotating through the sessions and students can come and receive help from any of the teachers. Please take advantage of this great opportunity.
