Juniors & Seniors, if you have a concurrent enrollment class on your schedule next year, come to the front office and get your CRNs from Mrs. Christian so you can get registered through SUU.

Girls!! SheTech is coming to SUU May 8.  It's a day-long opportunity to experience hands-on technology from solar, to app building, to rocketships, to hacking, to 3D printing.  Workshops include robotics, computer programming, digital media, health, and microbiology.  If you are interested, see Mrs. Johnson in Room 105 to get registered by Monday, May 1.

If you signed up for Cedar Bible Institute next year, would you check you schedule online and make sure you have A1 as Home Release.  If you don’t, sign up in the counseling office to have your schedule fixed!

Students, you should be able to see your schedule for next year by logging in to your Powerschool account.  You will have until May 2nd to get an appointment with your counselor to resolve any issues.  There will be a $15 fee for any schedule changes that involve classes that were not originally selected.  Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor...

There will be a co-ed volleyball tournament on May 8 @ 6:00 pm. You must have 3 of the opposite gender on each team.

Seniors! Please look at the preliminary graduation lists located in the counseling office and front office window.  If your name is missing, contact your counselor immediately.  This list is NOT final.  Seniors MUST continue attending their classes.

Register by April 26 for the Youth and Government High School State Conference.  The Conference is Saturday, April 29, from 8:15 am – 5:00 pm at the Utah State Capitol Building.  Lunch is provided.  Ask Mrs. Christian in the front office for more details.

Attention Grad Tripping Seniors:  Your total amount is due by Friday, April 28, along with your paperwork.  Mrs. Hulet will be here during lunch today, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday just outside the front office.

High School students interested in exploring health care careers are invited to participate in the Southern Utah Area Health Education Center's annual Health Career Exploration Camp being held for the first time at Dixie State University. The camp will take place June 19-21, 2017 and is open to all current 9-12th grade high school students who have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Contact counseling for more information and to get the application to sign up.

Members of the Art Guild competed in the Fantasy Art Competition against a boat-load of other schools. In the 3D category, Sarah Capps earned Honorable Mention.  In the technology category Faith Springer earned Honorable Mention and Bailey Davis won 2nd place! Olivia Acevedo won the People's Choice Award!  The competitor's artwork and trophies will be available for viewing in the commons area display cases.

The University of Utah is hosting a Summer Mathematics Programs for High School Students. The class runs from Jun 19-July 14Monday-Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visit www.math.utah.edu/hsp or your counselor for more information.

Seniors, come into the counseling office and start checking scholarship application deadlines. Many are due this month and next month. There are some great opportunities for you to take advantage of.

Our math department is sponsoring a tutor lab after school from 3-4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. An additional session will be held on Mondays from 5-6 pm. The teachers will be rotating through the sessions and students can come and receive help from any of the teachers. Please take advantage of this great opportunity.
