GE Reagan Foundation
High school seniors who demonstrate exceptional leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship are invited to apply for the 2018 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. This program annually provides college-bound students with $10,000 renewable scholarships – up to $40,000 total per recipient – and supports them as they lead and serve in college and beyond.

Applications for the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program will be accepted online until January 4, 2018. Additional information, eligibility requirements, and a link to the application are available online. You may also follow us on Facebook.


Athnet Sports Recruiting is offering a $1,000 scholarship available to future college students who play or have played sports at the high school level. This year's high school seniors are eligible to apply if they will be attending college next year. See the website link (above) for more information.


Susan W. Coda Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Susan W. Coda Memorial Scholarship Fund (SWC) provides a scholarship each year for a Utah woman attending a four-year college outside Utah. The award is based on scholastic achievement, community involvement as well as personal and professional goals. The application process begins November 1 and ends March 1.

For exceptional Utah women only, attending a college or university outside the state of Utah.
Requirements:
·         Must be a resident of Utah at the time of application.
·         Must be a graduate of a Utah high school.
·         Must have a 3.8 or higher GPA (cumulative grade point average), including high school and college courses (if applicable) and high SAT/ACT scores.
·         Must provide proof of acceptance to a four-year college or university located outside the state of Utah.
·         Must demonstrate leadership abilities.
·         Must participate in extra-curricular school activities.
·         Must be involved in community affairs.

Note: Financial need is not a consideration.

Each year Dixie Power awards $10,000 in scholarships to high school seniors.  Seniors must meet certain criteria and are asked to submit an essay, then they must be available for an interview if chosen as a finalist. 

In order to  apply for the scholarship, the senior ,must meet the following qualifications:

 ·        Applicant and family must be members/consumers of Dixie Power
·         Applicant must be attending a local high school
·         Applicant must be a high school senior on track for graduation, with a G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher (provide a copy of G.P.A.)
·         Applicant has not received a scholarship / award from Dixie Power in the past

Winners will be selected by a scholarship committee comprised of board members and other appointed individuals.  All applicants are notified of the scholarship committee’s decision approximately 45 days following the application deadline (Deadline October 31, 2017).

The Award
Scholarships are awarded annually and must be used at one of the 1890 Historically Black Land-Grant Universities. Each award provides full tuition, as well as room and board, for the term of the scholarship. The scholarship may be renewed each year, contingent upon satisfactory academic performance and normal progress toward the bachelor's degree.

General Eligibility
To be eligible for the USDA/1890 National Scholars Program scholarship a student must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Have been accepted for admission or currently attending one of the nineteen 1890 Historically Black Land-Grant Universities.
  • Study agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, or other related academic disciplines
  • Demonstrate leadership and community service
  • Submit an official transcript with the school seal and an authorized official's signature
  • Submit a signed application (original signature only)

SUSAN W. CODA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP  

The applicant shall:

Applications for the 2017-2018 university academic year must be completed and postmarked no later than March 1, 2017 to be considered.
Financial need is not a requirement for this scholarship.
All applicants shall be reviewed by the Susan W. Coda Memorial Scholarship Fund Committee (appointed by the P.E.O. Utah State Chapter executive board).
The application of the most highly qualified woman shall be sent to the trustees of the P.E.O. Foundation for final approval.

Government and leadership education program in Washington, D.C.
Are you a junior or senior involved in student government in the office of Student Body President, Vice President Secretary or Treasurer?
