In order to apply for the Regent’s Scholarship you must meet the following deadlines. All required application documents (including the 2020-2021 FAFSA) must be submitted by these deadlines. Mailed documents must be postmarked by the deadline.   Priority Deadline: December 6, 2019.   Final Deadline: February 3, 2020. Please contact your school counselor before Friday, Dec. 6 to get your official transcript sent to Regents.

Honor Society needs your help to get food donations for needy families in our community! Please bring any cans or pantry items that are not expired and drop them off in boxes in the classrooms, the office and other locations around the school and join us in this act of service.

The FINAL CVHS Dance Concert will be TONIGHT, Dec. 5 @ 7:30 pm in the CVHS auditorium. Admission is $3.

There is a mandatory FBLA meeting this TODAY, Nov. 5 during lunch in Mr. Edwards Room. Lunch will be provided.

Attention all students taking a concurrent enrollment class next semester: come to the office and pick up your course registration numbers from Mrs. Christian. Also, if you haven’t picked up a concurrent enrollment t-shirt, be sure to get one!

The Dance Company fundraiser will be on Tuesday, December 10th all day (8am-6pm) in front of CVHS. We will be doing a bake sale and a program called Ford Drive for your School. If you are 18 years old with a valid driver’s license you are invited to test drive a Ford vehicle for free. Only a signed waiver to drive the vehicle is needed.  One driver per household.  

The next Skills USA Chapter meeting will be on Wednesday, Dec. 11 during lunch in room 129, ALL SKILLS USA MEMBERS MUST BE THERE, we will be planning out our activities for the rest of the year, and beginning preparation for state competitions.  BE THERE!  It will be FUN!

The Skills USA Christmas party will be on Thursday, Dec. 12 during lunch in room 129, we will be having pizza, for lunch, passing out Christmas gifts, and doing a gift exchange.  This is for all CVHS Skills USA members.  BE THERE! It will be a lot of FUN!

Students come and sign up in the counseling center to take the ASVAB test. THE ASVAB CAREER EXPLORATION PROGRAM is a career planning and exploration program that combines a multiple-aptitude test with an interest self-assessment and a wide range of career exploration tools. And it's FREE so sign up today! The test date is Dec 13th and you MUST have signed up in advance to take this interest inventory test.

Any student who is interested in taking Drivers Ed 3rd quarter can sign up with Mr. Jacobsen.  You must turn 16 before August 20th.  The class will start January 6th.  The cost is $100.00--

All scholarship opportunities are posted outside the counseling office on the bulletin board.
